Son los años 40, la era dorada de la radio, y los peculiares miembros de una familia trabajadora de Nueva York viven con el receptor permanentemente encendido. La música, los seriales lacrimógenos, las historias de superhéroes, los concursos, las crónicas de la alta sociedad y las leyendas sobre estrellas deportivas les sirven para ser un poco menos infelices y engarzan un anecdotario nostálgico de una época irrepetible.

It’s the 1940s, the golden age of radio, and peculiar members of a working New York family live with the receiver permanently on. The music, the tear-generating serials, the stories of superheroes, the contests, the chronicles of the high society and the legends about sports stars serve to be a little less unhappy and engargian an anecdotalgic nostalgic of an unrepeatable epoch.
